How to use it!
Step 1: Mix contents of the pack with 750ml(5 cups) lukewarm water to form a batter and keep it aside for 10 mins.
Step 2: Optionally add chopped green chillies and coconut slices.
Step 3: Heat oil in the kadai. Take a small quantity of batter on a slightly wet hand and mould into donut shape. Deep fry the medu vadas on medium flame till crispy and golden brown.
Step 4: Serve hot with chutney, sambar, or any accompaniment of your choice, and enjoy the delicious, crispy medu vadas!
Important points to note-
- Store in a cool, dry, and hygienic place.
- Use a dry spoon to scoop the mix from the packet.
- Once opened, reseal the packet tightly to maintain freshness.
- Ensure that the batter is thick in consistency after mixing the water.
- No preservatives – prepare batter fresh for best results.
- 500gm of Vada Mix can help make around 16-17 Vadas.
