How to use it!
Step 1: In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil or ghee on medium heat. Add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Step 2: Add vegetables of your choice, such as peas, carrots, and bell peppers, and cook for until they soften slightly. You can also add 1-2
tablespoons of chopped onions and saute until translucent.
Step 3: Gradually pour in 2 cups of water into the tempering and let it boil.
Step 4: Add 1 cup of “Yours Freshly Rava Upma Mix” to the pan, stirring continuously for 1-2 minutes to avoid lumps.
Step 5: Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes until the water is absorbed and the upma reaches the desired consistency.
Step 6: Serve the upma with a spoon, garnish with fresh coriander leaves or grated coconut if desired, and serve hot. Enjoy a wholesome,
nutritious breakfast.
Important points to note-
- Store in a cool, dry, and hygienic place.
- Use a dry spoon to scoop the mix from the packet.
- Once opened, reseal the packet tightly to maintain freshness.
- Adjust salt and spice to taste as per preference.
- Adding vegetables is optional but enhances flavour and nutrition.
